Andrea López-Rodríguez earned her B.S. in Environmental Science with a minor in Toxicology from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico at Aguadilla. She possesses valuable undergraduate research experience, including serving as RISE/SURF 2024 Scholar at Rutgers University. As a former mentee of the ToxMSDT program (Class of 24'), Andrea now joins as a Student Assistant, eager to support program activities and contribute her growing expertise. She is passionate about pursuing graduate studies in environmental toxicology, emphasizing exposure science and regulatory toxicology. She aims to raise awareness of the impact of xenobiotics on ecosystems, particularly in underrepresented communities. Her lifelong goal is to inspire others to enter STEM fields for environmental and social progress.
