Whitney Davis

Whitney Davis is a rising junior at the University of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, majoring in Laboratory Animal Science. Her passion for research has led her to develop an interest in toxicology and pathology. She has performed research with Dr. Flaw’s Lab of Reproductive Toxicology under her mentor Dr. Ziv-Gal. Her project involved the study of propylparaben, a commonly used preservative, and its potential effects on the ovary. Along with her studies, she also tutors at her institution and aspires to become a teacher in biomedical sciences after her post-graduate education. Whitney looks forward to gaining insight into a career in toxicology through the ToxMSDT program.
