Janayah Tolbert

Janayah Tolbert is a junior at the State University of New York at Oswego. She is currently pursuing a B.S. degree in Biology, with a minor in Forensic Science. She is involved on campus through her membership on the E-boards of the First-Gen club and the Pre-healthcare club. She has obtained her NYS EMT-B certification and volunteers on campus with the Student Association Volunteer Ambulance Corps (SAVAC). Additionally, she is participating in research in organic chemistry in Dr. Arsalan Mirjafari's lab. Through the ToxMSDT program, she hopes to gain an understanding of what it will take to achieve her goal of pursuing a PhD in toxicology or a related biochemical field. She hopes to cultivate a strong and long-lasting professional network.
