Bio

Aliesha Hetnarine is a senior at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, majoring in  Forensic Science with a double concentration in Molecular Biology and Toxicology with a minor in English. On campus, she is the president of the Forensic Science Society, a recipient of the McNair tProgram, Program for Research Initiatives in Science & Math Undergraduate Research Program (PRISM  URP), and various honor societies. Aliesha is currently an undergraduate  researcher where she is conducting research on Developing an Analytical Method  to Determine the Chemical Composition of e-Cigarette Aerosols. Aliesha plans to pursue a Ph.D to utilize her instrumentation and analytical skills to problem-solve for the greater good of justice. Through ToxMSDT, she aspires to build  long-standing connections, engage in toxicology, and network with fellow scientists.
