Allison Porter

Allison Porter is a senior at King University that is interested in pursuing a PhD in Toxicology.
Allison is currently majoring in Biology with a minor in Criminal Justice. Her interest in
toxicology came about after she attended the 62nd Annual Society of Toxicology meeting last
March. She is involved in working for King’s toxicology research laboratory and is also a Peer
Mentor for STEM Transfer Students at King as well. Allison has joined ToxMSDT to obtain more
exposure in the toxicology field and how she can grow her knowledge in the careers available to
her. She hopes to learn new things as she explores this program and also hopes to build her
network within the professional community.
