Andrea López-Rodríguez

Andrea López-Rodríguez is a senior at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. She is
interested in the field of environmental toxicology as well as ecotoxicology and public health.
She is majoring in Environmental Science with a minor in toxicology. Currently, she is working
on an investigation with the guidance of Dr. Jorge Agudo, on testing for fecal coliforms on the
west coast of the Island. She is currently the vice president of the Student Society of Toxicology
at the Interamerican University and a volunteer at the recycling museum at Hatillo, PR. A future
aspiration for her is to continue studies in hopes of obtaining a PhD in Environmental
Toxicology. In the ToxMSDT program, she hopes to obtain the necessary skills to develop into a
professional scientist and gain more knowledge in her beloved field of toxicology.
