Chelbi Sirach Espiritu

Chelbi Sirach Espiritu is a junior at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo majoring in Biology, on the
Cellular Molecular track and is from Ewa Beach, Oʻahu. She is interested in becoming a
laboratory scientist. She works on-campus as an administrative assistant and serves as the
President of the University of Hawai'i at HIlo Student Association. When she is relaxing you can
catch her at the beach and hanging out with her friends enjoying some poke bowls. She hopes
that being a part of the ToxMSDT program will open up more opportunities to
network amongst people outside of the Islands of Hawai'i. Chelbi is excited to learn about
different career paths and this program is helping her gain the experience she desires.
