Bio

Meghan Bredell is a senior at Rutgers University – SEBS, completing a BS in Biochemistry with a concentration in Toxicology. She is a member of Douglass Residential College, served as a Barbara Voorhees Mentor, and is a student collaborator for a NJ Community College Transfer outreach program this academic year. Meghan is a student member of the NJ Association of Forensic Scientists (NJAFS) and the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB). She is a first-generation, nontraditional student who returned to college after many years working in the restaurant hospitality industry. After graduation, Meghan plans to attend graduate school and pursue a career in Pathology. She is excited to learn more about Toxicology and how these two fields intersect and to be a member of this year’s ToxMSDT cohort.
