Melissa Kudlak

Melissa Kudlak is a senior at Rutgers University who is interested in pharmacology, toxicology,
and drug development. Melissa is in her second professional year in a PharmD program at the
Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy. Her passion for research in pharmacology and toxicology
developed from her undergraduate laboratory experiences and mentor guidance. She currently
performs research under Dr. Debra Laskin and Dr. Andrew Gow studying the toxicity of e-
cigarette flavorings in precision cut lung slices (PCLS). ToxMSDT will provide her with the
perfect opportunity to pursue her passions and have a better understanding of the field of
toxicology. Melissa is excited to learn more about toxicology from meeting professionals in the
field.
