Vanessa Benenaula

Vanessa Benenaula is a junior at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, pursuing her bachelor's degree in biochemistry with a concentration in toxicology. She is currently a member of SEBS EOF, planning on pursuing a PhD after her graduation in 2026. She was introduced to toxicology through a class assignment in high school and fell in love with the field and its various different branches. She hopes that being part of the ToxMSDT program will help her make long-lasting professional connections and friendships with peers and broaden her knowledge of potential toxicology careers she can work in after graduation.
