Zaria Jackson

Zaria Jackson is a senior at North Carolina Central University, majoring in Chemistry with a concentration in Forensic Science. She is part of the McNairs Scholars program which prepares students for future doctoral studies. Zaria is currently working as an undergraduate researcher where she is conducting research on the Effect of Microcystin on Alzheimer Brain Cells and plans to pursue her Ph.D in Toxicology after graduation. Zaria is excited to be a part of the ToxMSDT program and believes it will prepare her for doctoral studies while also creating a lasting mentorship as well as friendships. She is looking forward to all the opportunities that stem from being a part of the program.
